I've got burgers going a little later. Lettuce, tomato, and pickles.

I am still enjoying the bounty of my garden. Just a couple more weeks left (if we are lucky) before the nighttime temperatures drop below freezing.

Tonight's dinner will feature zucchini, baby carrots, fresh parsley, basil and oregano.

Garden fresh steamed zucchini, baby carrots, parsley and onion slices. Baked potato topped with basil and oregano and a dollop of Ranch dressing. An extremely petite portion of sirloin steak rubbed with Cajun seasoning then pan seared to medium.

I'm gonna finish off the potato chips for dinner. Dessert is probably orange sherbet. The only sweet that still tastes good to me.

We buy some canned beans. They used to be made locally and were called Ranch Style beans. They're essentially kidney beans in a sort of chili powder sauce. We mix ground beef, the beans w/sauce, onion, garlic, cumin, Worcestershire sauce and a tad of ketchup /mustard. Sometimes a little tomato paste or tomato or beef bullion.
