Cream of Wheat & hot, sweet tea. (has been a cool, drizzly, boring day...somehow this seemed appropriate)

We had a bit of a snafu concerning dinner ingredients so I ended up eating a small plate of nachos and some cookies and milk.

I met a couple of friends for dinner at one of the city's venerable old-timey diners.
I'm not a fan of most diner-type food so I had my default diner meal: cheese and onion omelette, lots of hot sauce, whole wheat toast and water with lemon wedge.

We grilled out tonight. Splurged and had filet mignon along with corn on the cob, baked potatoes, Caesar salads and Texas toast. Sweet iced tea to drink and cheesecake for dessert.

Beef steak from a Thai restaurant and of course, I had to have rice with it. For dessert, a dish of chocolate chip ice cream.

about 6am this morning I put a large pork shoulder in the crock pot. We are having a small church group over this PM for a couple of hours. When they leave we will take the shoulder out and decide what to do with it after they leave. I do know I want to take a piece of it and make a dinner for a couple in our church because she is having back surgery tomorrow. I just don't have any idea what I should do. It has to be something that can be frozen as I am sure she will get other things from members.
