I have been wanting a tuna-melt for a couple of days now - so tonight, a tuna-melt. I can't wait.

That looks delish! I always put the cheese on top, but I'm going to have to try it that way. Maybe I will make tuna melts tonight, too.

I like the open-faced sandwich - one of the joys of eating is the presentation before it hits my lips.

Funny stuff!. I had the craving tonight for a Tuna melt and am eating it now. I don't like much mayo (the pre made stuff in grocery stores makes me wanna puke)

One can of albacore, tablespoon of good mayo, s/p, chopped red onion served on toasted Canadian white
imported swiss on the top! EMMMMM! mangiare !

I like mine with sweet pickles and use some of the pickle juice in the mixture. This helps cut down on the mayo and makes for a juicy tuna-melt. I like sharp cheddar on mine.

No i don't..I only use Mayo on tuna melts..that's it. But always open to new suggestions on how to make any recipe more
delish! Edit..I was referring to the already prepared tuna sold in supermarket's (like seafood salad and other mayo based
dinners) not to the mayo itself..I use Hellmans mayo..

I hear yeah Naturen..some of my family loves the pickles added too..

I like the tomato idea, never had it that way. Not much to improve on a hit like that.
