Trying to get the fridge cleaned out before we leave: we are having roast pork, yams and I have a little bit of squash left. So think I will steam it...

We are having Party Plate Night. My kids love it. We pretend we are having a party and I fix things like stuffed celery or stuffed mushrooms, pigs in a blanket, fresh veggies and dip, maybe a special cookie or something sweet. It's also a good way to dress up some leftovers when there isn't enough for a full meal. We do this about once every 2 months or so. They love it.

Just an omelette with spring onions and fine diced tomatoes and spinach aside. To drink some lassi (yogurt mixed with water). A clementine for dessert

Lubby, don't forget the parmesan cheese! I do that with soaghetti but never tried it with breadcrumbs, can you elaborate? Is it a casserole thing?
My neighbor takes about 1/3 cup EVOO in a pan on medium high heat, let heat up adds garlic powder, 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs and cook until bread crumbs get golden brown. add to cooked pasta and toss.

Tonight is leftover night, tuna casserole for hubby, rigatoni with garlic and oil and broccoli for me. I also made stuffed mushrooms to go with the leftovers.
