Almost forgot ...we had pigs in a blanket and some formed like sleeping dog. Another crazy idea of my DD for the gkids. Black beans and mac-n-cheese.

BLT's (bacon, lettuce, tomato) with onion on whole grain bread. Guess you would call that a BLOT!

Tonight's dinner (and I checked the menu) is baked flounder fillets, with seasoned white rice and peas. A little heavy on the starch, but all I have right now.

I am making a meatloaf to share with our homebound friend, plus garlic, cheese mashed tomatoes and I brought a couple kinds of salad home last night from the salad pot luck at church. I will combine them into one salad: There is some bean salad and some copper penny salad (some of you probably don't know what copper penny salad is) I might also add a veggie, but I am not sure.

Tonight it is just us 2 so we have a spicy green lentil soup with chapati and homemade ghee (butter),a white radish salad,chili pickle and lassi. For dessert a mini apple strudel with 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
