Alm, thank you so much! Going to do this tonight or tomorrow, once I make it to the market.
Three questions...

1. Does the oven need to be a gas oven, so that the pilot light gives off a bit of heat? (Hope not, I have electric.)

2. Why plain yogurt? I understand not using fruit in the starter, but could vanilla yogurt be used?

3. If it's not solid next morning (or perhaps this never happened to you), then what? Back in the oven for another few hours?

It is CHEAP and sooo DELICIOUS!

I cannot wait to try this! I'll do a very small batch first. Had no idea it was so easy. Thank you again for sharing!

YOU are very welcome
1.I only put it in the cold oven so that it does NOT get disturbed!
2.I was taught plain yogurt only,I guess in India they don't have in the villages flavored yogurt
3.No,then just drink it after whisking it smooth and add salt or a pinch fresh roasted cumin...it Never happened to me
4. Try only in a very small pot as a test and feel free to DM me,I try to contact you as soon as I am able to

That sounds delicious. Nice of you to clear her drive, Alm.

My lunch was plain & simple... a store cooked chicken leg with a glass of water & some vitamins.
