I restocked my pasties (English meat pies) last weekend, so I had one today for lunch, along with baby carrots.

Where do you get your pasties from, Dennis?

I've never had one, only read about them in The Cat Who detective series. But I'd love to try one.

I had some cheese and turkey with tomato. I made hubby some yummy looking grilled cheese sandwiches. Seven grain bread, white cheddar and American cheese, tomato and dill pickles, mayo on one side and butter on the other.

Early morning visit to Farmers Market, here's the lunch it yielded:
- field (black-eyed) peas cooked in chicken broth
- a big pot of steamed squash and onions
- smashed new potatoes (i.e. boiled, then smashed, then baked)
- pickled beets
- sliced tomatoes
- banana pepper
- canteloupe

I have Burger King coupons, so I bought another Burger King meal. This time I had an original chicken sandwich with French fries. Iced tea to drink.
