McDonalds got such a bad rap back in the early 00's so I was wondering if anyone still actually ate there. I know other fast food joints like Arby's and Taco Bell are just as bad, if not worse but they did not seem to get as much bad publicity as McD's. If you eat there, how often and what do you usually order?
I do but only for breakfast, I go pretty much every morning now. It's the only place that I can seem to get a biscuit where we moved to, and that's my favorite breakfast item. Before we moved I was used to have a biscuit place that dealt with nothing but biscuits for morning food...now all I have is McDs for my biscuit fix. Believe it or not, it's the only thing I miss about WV...not having a biscuit world. I generally get two plain biscuits and my husband gets a coffee and a sausage biscuit, can' beat the price, a large for a buck plus the biscuits are only a buck each.
I used to absolutely LOVE their double cheeseburgers. It was actually a hangover cure for me - that and a Diet Coke together. And it worked every single time. BUt it's been many years since then, and these days McD's is a rare stopping place. I've had one of their grilled chicken snack wraps a couple of times now, and it's a decent meal (I don't eat much) and pretty healthy. So if I am starving and need something, and there is a McDonald's nearby, I would stop and have one of those.
This whole lawsuit thing going on in Tecoma Australia where they do not want the McDs to come in... I think it is gonna hurt them esp. in that Australian market.
So many corporations practice strongarm business practices, I mean this is no way to get good PR for their businesses.
Hot, crispy hash browns are like Lay's potato chips.
