Usually a cup of tea and some unsalted nuts. And the occasional cookie...or two
During the week I too have a green tea or a fruit but that's it,unless it is a Saturday night than little snacks are served like nuts, crackers, pretzels and cheese
Just had some Gouda Cheese on Kashi Roasted Garlic whole grain crackers with about 8 oz sangria / 8 oz apricot juice over ice. Will finish off the night with a few mini Swiss Lodge Mocha cream chocolates (Russell Stover) then mango and some pineapple and watermelon.
Current inventory allows me to rotate amongst the following evening snacks depending on wherever my craving takes me:
Popcorn (self made on stove top in coconut butter and grape oil and lightly seasoned salt)
Vegetable chips
Pretzels
Cheese (cheddar / gouda) and variety of crackers (preferably water crackers)
Almonds / Peanuts / mixed nuts
Smoked Oysters
When the craving is sweet:
Schogotten 70% cocoa Mini chocolates (Aldi's) highly recommended
Russell Stover mini square Swiss Lodge Mocha Cream (local closeout chain gets variety of Ghirardelli / Russell Stover excess post season) it's fun to see what is available. Mini Caramel sea salt are a favorite.
Yogurt (various flavors)
Beverage:
Almond Milk (plain / vanilla / sometimes chocolate) Aldis - great for cereal or straight
Real Fruit Juices (Apricot, Mango, Guava)
Carrot / Strawberry Banana smoothie) Bolthouse
Tea
Water
My daughter and I eat dinner on the couch (not a couch potato - we're somewhat active?). We have a dinner table, but it is covered by my winter-growing herbs or other plants. We mostly enjoy dinners in the living room, unless mandated by me - we sit at the dinner table, by candle light; say a prayer, etc.
