Maybe a couple of sandwiches. We are moving that weekend. I can't wrap my head around anything but how much work I have to do that day. Movers come on the 30th.
25lbs easy, tasty and quick. Well except the brining which is an overnight thing. Did two of these last Thanksgiving 50lbs. Yes I have two Webers and yes the whole durn extended family came.
I have been wanting to grill a turkey, but wasnt sure how to go about doing it. What did you brine it in and how long did it take to grill?

Alton Brown has the best info on tukey brining in my opinion. Then buttefly the turkey cram butter and herbs up under the skin and cook until it reaches correct temp. I also used apple wood to smoke that turkey for the first two hours. I think it took me 2-2.5 hours. I let my turkey rest covered for an hour at room temp before tossing on the grill.
Cajun turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and cranberry chutney, and of course homemade gravy.
Will most likely be just us two with the boys stopping by for deserts. First thanksgiving in the new house so it is kinda of special that it will be small in scale.
It's going to be my first year not to cook in a while since we were invited to my husband's boss's house. I'm actually kind of sad about that since I actually like to cook Thanksgiving feast. I have no idea what they are making. I'm sure it'll be good, though.
We just moved across the country from family so it'll be our first only-us-two Thanksgiving. I'm going to cook my first turkey! (My grandmother & fMIL do it back home.) We're actually running a charity 10k that morning. Then we'll watch the Macy's parade when we get back and the dog show (every year) while I cook the food. Then we'll sit in our pajamas and eat and eat and eat and I'll probably hand some turkey off to my cats.
What is a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in Canada? What did you have this year?
Same as you. We had turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, cranberry sauce, stuffing, sweet glazed carrots, etc. One thing I haven't seen up here is putting marshmallows in food or those green beans in soup topped with french fried onions.

Ah, white trash cooking at its finest. I love that thing, but we only ever eat it at Thanksgiving. There was an article in the NY Times a few years ago interviewing NYC chefs and asking what they eat at Thanksgiving. One of them mentioned that he looks forward to that casserole because his mother makes it.
