Had a friend years back, we were talking and she said she and her SO had a thing for a romantic meal. It called for Croissant stuffed with Camembert cheese and grapes on the side, with a glass of good wine. She wasn't joking. It works.

What would you choose for a romantic meal?

I would make something the person I was interested in would like. If I didn't know that about them, I wouldn't be romantic with them.

after 55 years of marriage, I don't think the words "romantic" and "meal" go together, but if we do want something special, with a little romance and just a warm feeling, we will go out to a nice restaurant.

I think a romantic meal is just going someplace nice alone with your SO and enjoying your time together. As far as food I think lobster and crab are sexy.

Something about salmon has always been romantic to me.

Our tradition for a romantic dinner is steak, 'shrooms, salad, and shrimp scampi. You know, ALL the s's.

A couple of weeks ago the husband and I had lobster tails, steamed artichokes, sauteed asparagus and a good bottle of wine. It was very romantic.

I would say so...I wouldn't have minded some of that myself, and a side of great boyfriend to go, please!
