We had unstuffed pepper soup and garlic bread. The taste was exactly like a stuffed pepper with the tomato, ground beef and sliced red and green peppers. It could have used some rice which is what we add to the ground beef mixture but it was still excellent.

Oh, I know, a hamburger is a different animal than a veggie burger--I was being facetious. I still eat hamburgers when I want one, but often, I do enjoy tofu as an alternative protein source due to its health benefits--and with the peanut sauce, I really like its flavor...

from the link below: "...the primary health benefit of tofu is to lower your risk of atherosclerosis, hypertension and cardiovascular diseases."

When I do eat vegetarian, I actually have eaten this dish. Other than that, nope, didn't have it for lunch. Tofu's just ok to me.

Fried tofu mixed with steamed bok choy, tossed with home-made peanut sauce (crunchy peanut butter, garlic, hot chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, a bit of brown sugar, fresh minced ginger, water).

You're correct!!! The only things on that list that I'd eat are the peanut butter and water.

I had a few slices of cooked deli ham and American cheese. Rolled them up and ate them for lunch. Then I washed them down with a 25oz can of Bud.

Sounds delicious. I eat tofu often in a veggie curry.

However, I had homemade carrot and coriander soup, fresh pineapple, and a wholegrain wrap with hummous.
