If all I had in the cabinet/fridge was:
1 box lentils
1 box pasta
jasmine rice
pinto beans
oatmeal
beef stock
eggs
grated parmesan
canned beets
butter
what meal could you make?
Assume also you have all the oils, spices, sugar, flour you need.

Oh, lots.
I made spicy lentil stew tonight with lentils, stock and some spices.
Fried eggs with cheese.
Spicy beans, eggs and cheese.
Curry beets.
Rice and beans in all sorts of permutations.
Buttery, eggy, cheesy pasta.
Etc.

If you have an onion, garlic and maybe a fresh veg of some sort, you have the makings of a nice pasta fagioli type of soup. Make some cookies for dessert with that oatmeal. Sounds like a nice, homey meal.
