I have a little book called 100 best foods. I was looking it over the other night and have made a promise to myself to at least try some of them that I have never eaten. The first one I will try is "Kale". It seems this has many nutrients in it that we all need and it's usually available at the local grocery. Anyone eat this, and what is your favorite way? I'm going to make a big effort to incorporate more greens as well.

You can blend kale into a smoothie. You can also eat it cooked or raw...if you eat it raw, it goes down easier if you massage it with some olive oil before you eat it. How to Make Massaged Kale Salad - In Sonnet's Kitchen

I like the taste of kale in a salad, especially paired with Chinese food, but sometimes the curly texture makes me gag.

Love Kale. I just cut it up (de-stem) and saute it with a little garlic.

There was a pretty long recent thread about things to do with kale....shoot I can't find it because the results aren't listed chronologically.

Anyway, I like it sauteed with a bit of garlic and sriracha sauce.
Or in a casserole with sweet potatoes and sausage.
Finely chopped into vegetable soup.
Some people like kale chips but I tried some store-bought ones and didn't care for them.

It can be a bit tough if not cooked right; try baby or young kale which is more tender.
