Well, finally our weather is beginning to have the word: spring written in the clouds. The grill officially opens today even if spoiled brat isn't excited about doing something other than watching March madness. We are on our way to finish digging the garden. Then this afternoon, after a couple of drinks, he will grill a tenderloin and we filled throw some veggies on the grill. I might bake a potato. Of course what would tenderloin be without a salad. We are having tomato, and cuke salad with mozzarella cheese, basil and garlic dressing.
coldest of cold rains here -- I'm seeing some things bounce, so a little hail or sleet thrown in for poor measure right now. Ugh! March comes in like a lion and goes out like a slightly smaller lion.
Bulgogi beef served atop a white cabbage, carrot & ginger braise. Strawberries for dessert.
today was my lucky day,,, i nailed a wild turkey coming back from church... couldnt avoid it,,
so carefully,,,not to ruin my sundays best clothes,,i cut the breast out,,,
thankfully, i had some sharp knives in the car,,,for just such an occasion..
so, im brining it a bit and will cook it for dinner..

Alaskan cod (fried or poached - haven't decided yet) with lemon wedges and/or Srirachi sauce. Home-made fries or baked potato and a green salad with an oil & vinegar dressing.
The day is young so the only sure preparation at this point is the salad.
I made a few quiches - baby spinach and asparagus with Swiss cheese.
A cucumber and tomato salad with dill dressing and a glass of Pinot. Or two.
That sounds delicious! Enjoy.
