What's on Tonight's Dinner Menu? 2014 (tamarind, Portland, restaurant, coffee)

Tonight at the Case abode: Case's version (number one) of Philly, with deli beef piled high, sautéed onions, and Cheez Whiz on some toasted French bread. Messy, but good.

Take-out tonight: chicken burrito with sour cream and guacamole. Spicy, mild salsa and Pico de Gallo will make my tummy happy!

Perdue popcorn chicken, rice and a side of steamed veggies.

Grilled tilapia with a red chili pepper glaze, saffron rice, steamed broccoli, and Kaiser rolls. Sweet iced tea to drink.

A yummy salad with bacon, tomato, and cheese, dressed with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, and ice cream for dessert. Chocolate, of course!

DD made a casserole of sausage bites, elbow or other pasta and 4 cheeses. Wasn't bad.

Not one of my better nights -- grits, a bit of leftover spaghetti, and milk. A real carb fest!
