Had the day off due to an early doctors appt. and got some fried seafood. Got my mom her favorite, fried clams and myself the same. And they where fresh and tasty. Also got 2 orders of fish and chips (haddock) which where just as good. Split it up for everyone and we enjoyed the treat!

But for tonight I'm making one of DH's favorite dishes -

Beer brats sauteed in a little Hoegaarden beer, sauteed bell pepper and onion strips, and browned potatoes (I cook those separately so they don't become soggy)

Cucumber salad and blueberry cobbler for desert.

Or plain blueberries.

When I ate meat, I absolutely loved that. We would get some special buns (nothing like hot dog buns) and load them up and then I'd add mustard. Soooo so good. If I decided to eat meat again that might be near the top of the list!
