I had a couple slices of fried ham wrapped in a couple of lettuce leaves with a little mayo and mustard. Fried up a few extra slices of ham to use for breakfast for a few days.

I sliced up some sweet Italian sausage and browned it in olive oil and butter. Took it out and drained and covered with foil...then had some summer squash and big ole Vidalia onion which I seasoned with S&P and Italian seasoning and browned up in the oil and butter , added 4 cloves of garlic (I like garlic), added some chopped fresh parsley and basil, added the sausage back in, heated it up and added a splash of white wine. That was supper. Then we had fresh peach slices for dessert. It all was quite good.

It is soooooo hot.

I reheated a piece of breaded chicken, put it on a bun with sweet onion and avocado, and called it dinner.

A granny smith and bit of brie for dessert.

A slice of cherry pie for second dessert, if I weaken.

Weather cooperated, low humidity...lovely day!

Chicken thighs coated thoroughly with onion soup mix baked for 30 minutes and then tossed in a cup of rice, some water, and a package of frozen peas. Yeah, I don't have a name for this spur of the moment 'delicacy', but it hit the spot.

Lots of ice cold water...with lemon wedges.

Bon appétit kids!
