Sole with Lemon-Butter Sauce, Recipe from Everyday Food, January/February 2005
Sounds delicious! Basically, it is fish poached in wine - I'll tuck that away in the memory blanks for the next time I poach a fish.

I would probably eliminate the lemon in step one and add it as a garnish at the end or just make sure that the lemon slices do not come in contact with the poaching liquid - but that is just me.

Please let us know how it turns out.

A non-fat vanilla Greek yogurt, 2 toasted pieces of whole wheat bread with healthy-style margarine & strawberry preserves and a mug of tea with a teaspoon of sugar and a bit of fat-free milk.

I had planned on beef tips on noodles in the crock pot, but with all stramash going on that went out the window. I am now cooking the bits of beef in some broth with onions, garlic, celery, mushrooms, and carrots. Do not yet know how tonight's dinner is going to turn up

Really slumming it tonight.

A can of baked beans with some chopped up Costco hotdogs mixed in.

This is what happens when you don't eat all day; you become a human garbage disposal that will gulp down the nearest and fastest junk on-hand.

Grilling tonight: burgers and baked potatoes and a side of leftover sautéed kale. Unsweetened iced tea to drink.

I'm going to sauté some big Pacific white shrimp in butter, garlic, white wine, lemon and dill and serve it with Basmati rice.
When 450 grams of shrimp goes on sale for $6.99 instead of $13.99, I stock up.
