Dinner here is black bean chili with rice and jalapeno corn bread. Dessert is mini apple pies with vanilla ice cream. Unsweetened iced tea to drink.

A non-fat peach Greek yogurt, 2 toasted slices of whole wheat bread with healthy-style margarine & strawberry preserves and a mug of tea with a teaspoon of sugar and a bit of fat-free milk.

Why the eye roll? That dinner sounds tasty. I haven't had chicken cordon bleu in a long time.

It's the things cooked inside other things idea I'm not fond of especially with chicken. Wife buys the sausages with cheese and crap in them sometimes. SIL makes a grand production of cooking and usually goes overboard. But, I imagine it will be edible.
