Back to the fifties or sixties. Tuna noodle casserole with apple sauce and ice berg lettuce with thousand Island dressing. Or blue cheese.

Chocolate bunt cake.

My wife is good at cooking for my parents. So don't attack me.

Actually, it was good.

Got up at 4:45 am and here it is 10pm and still haven't had dinner...I am completely out of imagination for something good.

We are having a couple of different sausages from Striplings (bratwurst and jalapeno sausage), on a toasted roll with a selection of mustards.

Well it is like this: we are supposed to go to a small couples group this evening and I am taking black berry crepes, but my knee decided to keep me up all night, so I won't be able to even stay awake. I will take our dessert anyway, but dinner will be at home. The good news: I am going to thaw out a few loin lamb chops and let spoiled brat do some grilling. I think I will have cauliflower/mashed potatoes also and maybe squash casserole. I will add, lamb chops sound a lot better than enchilada casserole though, especially here, where a lot of people think hot sauce is similar to katsup. and Mexican food should not be seasoned. Knowing the hostess, I can pretty well guess the spice would be on the mild to no flavor side. Shame on me: I deserve to have a bad knee!!!!

It's my DS birthday. He has asked for Olive Garden and a piece of cake from the cheesecake factory. Sounds good to me! I'll have the new lasagna with all those fresh vegetables and topped with grilled chicken, he wants 5 cheese ziti. Salad, breadsticks and belini tea to drink.
