I was going to make spaghetti and meatballs. I changed my mind five minutes ago. I am going to take the ground beef I am defrosting and make homemade sloppy Joe's.

I wanted something comforting and filling tonight:
Jalapeno cheese grits with green onion, sausage and shrimp gravy
spinach braised in lemon and olive oil
Cajun toast bites
pineapple sherbet

It is cool and cloudy today, so I'm making pot roast with carrots and onions, and mashed potatoes.

I have soup in the crockpot - made a veggie stock, and added a bunch of leftover ham, celery, carrots, onions, and then last night I soaked a bag of beans and tossed them in there this morning. Threw in a bunch of seasonings, too..

When I get home, I will take my immersion blender to some of it to make it a thick soup

Will serve with grilled cheese.

Lentil soup with side of Ditalini to add. Comfort food and an old standby here.

A whole apple with honey, a piece of Gefilte fish with lettuce, tomato & cucumber, a cup full of creamed spinach and a large glass of cranberry juice.

Whatever Mr. CSD finds in the fridge he wants to heat up.
As for me I'm not sure, my stomach is a wee bit queasy so I have not decided yet.
