Maybe tomorrow or Thursday I'll get to actually cook again.
Tonight was Five Guys burgers & fries. Not the healthiest meal, but we had our flu shots today, and also had to deal with MIL falling on the floor while we were out grocery shopping before the shots. By the time we got done all that, neither of us wanted to cook.

Sounds like a tough day all around, best wishes for a better rest of your week.
Thanks to B for repping me. I should have specified. The pork chops and sauerkraut was my Dad's favorite and his recipe but he passed suddenly Christmas morning 2008. Tonight we have homemade tomato soup with a spoon of plain yogurt in the center and a grilled cheese toast and a glass of lassi. For dessert a Cortland apple.
I will take the leftover meat loaf and cut it into meatball sized portions to serve with my homemade marinara sauce and spaghetti
make texas toast from the last of homemade white bread
ice tea-decaf
chocolate chip cookies if I can make them today
Beef and broccoli stir fry, with some fresh tomato wedges tossed on top toward the end, over steamed rice.
