Well this got changed to supper out since we had a visitation to go to and Mr. CSD to leave tonight.
Maybe tomorrow or Thursday I'll get to actually cook again.

Tonight was Five Guys burgers & fries. Not the healthiest meal, but we had our flu shots today, and also had to deal with MIL falling on the floor while we were out grocery shopping before the shots. By the time we got done all that, neither of us wanted to cook.

That is terrible, I hope your Mother In Law is okay and did not get injured.
Sounds like a tough day all around, best wishes for a better rest of your week.

Thanks to B for repping me. I should have specified. The pork chops and sauerkraut was my Dad's favorite and his recipe but he passed suddenly Christmas morning 2008. Now, for Wednesday, I'm making meatloaf, little roasted potatoes, with gravy and buttered baby peas. Cherry crumb cobbler for dessert. Ice tea to drink.

We have a new brand of tamales in our local market, so I am trying them along with homemade chili. We will also have a green salad. Our daughter will be here for dinner, her hubby is in Chicago and she is lonely.

Beef and broccoli stir fry, with some fresh tomato wedges tossed on top toward the end, over steamed rice.
