Since Christmas Eve is tomorrow, I'm posting now for then. We're doing shrimp cocktail, toasted ravioli, scallops wrapped in bacon, pigs in a blanket, mini quiches, assorted cheese, crackers and wine. Warm pecan pie for anyone who wants it. Merry Christmas friends!

I made country fried streak with mashed potatoes and a green salad.
Daughters are having dental work tomorrow morning so I'm sure they won't want much to eat tomorrow. I'm not planning to serve much to the rest of the family until Christmas Day Feast.

Last night we had a feast of slow cooker ham, mashed potatoes and fresh steamed broccoli....there was pecan pie for dessert.

Tonight will be fried rice with chicken and tofu......there is also left over ham and broccoli..

(Oh yesterday we went to a Vietnamese/French bistro......I shared a Saigon sandwich (?Bon Mai) with my son and followed it with seafood Pho.....it was delicious! We will be going back there.)

Tonight Christmas Eve is when my family celebrates and feasts big time. This year we have goose, mashed garlic potatoes, buttered Brussels sprouts, cooked apples and onions, peach halves decorated with Lingemberry. To drink they can choose beer,red/white wine,Schnapps.Later throughout the evening we indulge in my 14 variety Christmas cookies,Marzipan Stollen and Linzer Torte I baked for the past 2 weeks and Glühwein ( red mulled wine) and coffee or Darjeeling tea.

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas,a Happy Holiday,a good week filled with peace, harmony, gathering of family and friends and good food.
