Going out to a dance club later and there will be a dinner buffet. Not sure what types of foods yet.

Tonight we split a 1.5# steak, baked potato and Greek salad. We have enough left over to make hash with eggs for breakfast tomorrow.
Happy New Year, y'all.

We had friends over last night for a Norwegian dinner. Tired and looking forward to some down time with DH.

I made collard greens and black eyed peas. Home baked savory cornbread with cracked black pepper and herbs, roasted sweet potatoes and rice. Lots of hot sauce.

My brother's wife, who's from Little Rock gave me the cornbread recipe and swears this meal is good luck.

Pecan pie for desert.

Wishing everyone on this friendly, and drama free forum a Happy, Healthy and prosperous New Year!

We are going to a party, with a buffet and music from the Mad Men era. So I guess we will eat there. The tickets were quiet expensive so gotta eat there to maximize the benefit.

Nothing special to celebrate New Year's Eve.

Appetizer: a couple of California Rolls.
I had a leftover Chipotle chicken thigh in the freezer so I am using that to make a chili. I'll serve the chicken chili topped with a 4-cheese mixture and chopped green onions. I kinda have a taste for biscuits so I may pop open a package.
