I know the Sunday newspaper has some coupons but I also was told to go online. I tried and I even downloaded what they told me to. I still can't get to the printable coupons. Do your stores send you coupons in fliers? We use to get them that way in CA but it's so different here in NC. Any ideas or suggestions??

I also can't figure out how the coupon thing works here in NC. I get the Sunday paper, but it doesn't always have the same flyers. Last Sunday's didn't have any of the food coupon inserts. It seems spotty. Sometimes you have them, other times you don't. Some fliers come in the mail, others in the newspapers.
Maybe somebody is hogging all of them.
I just started using coupons again. I know they don't always have them every week in the paper. I think maybe 3 out of the four weeks in the month they do. Here in Tx last week we didn't have any either. I think they may take a break after a holiday week or something.
I also use the Sunday paper for most of my coupons. The papers don't always put coupons in especially around any holiday.
Try smartsource.com and see if you can get coupons there.
Another thing I do about twice a year is e-mail the companies that offer the products I use. For example I will google the name, Alpo dogfood, and go to the Purina website.
I will then write them a letter, tell them I use their product consistently and could they please"mail" me any coupons. I give them my address and usually I get coupons shortly after that. Most companies will do this.

I did do this today...emailing a couple of the companies. Trouble is many of them don't even have contact information. Or maybe they do and I just didn't see it. I also found tons on ebay but you never know what it is you are getting and if they are close to expiring. I'm amazed at how some of those sellers on ebay have so many coupons---wonder how they do it? I asked my husband if they took several Sunday newspapers out of the paper machine and only paid for one!! Just kidding!! Sorta.

I have no idea where the people on Ebay get all their coupons. I wish I did.
You can also try doing a coupon swap in your neighborhood or ask people for the coupons they receive and don't use. I tried this in my area unfortunately I was the only one adding new coupons. Oh well maybe it will work for you.
Also check the library-sometimes they give away old magazines that sometimes have coupons.
Keep trying with the companies. Which ones couldn't you find?
It's not that I couldn't find them I was having trouble with the contact information. I'm better on a phone then the computer....still and always learning the computer!! But I think if I do try emailing some of these companies maybe they will respond. I have NEVER had to LOOK for coupons before as they were always sent to me or they had them in the store. I suppose I am just going to have to learn how they do it in these parts. Shopping with coupons sure does help with the food bills!!
Wouldn't it be nice if the stores had the coupons right on the shelves w/the product! When we lived in NJ some grocery stores had little electronic dispenser things by certain items.
Don't bother printing coupons from online, people. The printer ink+ paper+ man hours is way more than you actually saved.
