I guess I would have to say I like both. But I definitely prefer Apple. Especially when it's hot and vanilla ice cream is involved.

Peach pie? Now you're talkin'!!!! That's my favorite.

Even though I usually prefer apple pie, I have had one really good peach cobbler. A dinner host had made it from scratch. He said the most important part was selecting good peaches. I'll admit it was pretty good.

Apple pie, far and away. I don't like peaches.

Apple cobbler is the best of the best, though.

Peach cobbler with a big ol' scoop of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream on top. I'm drooling thinking about it.

Why does one have to be better than the other? Apple pie for dinner; peach cobbler for dessert. Or vice versa.

Unable to make the comparison...it's like choosing between NY or Chicago-style pizza. Both are equally delicious, but it's apples/oranges (or, "apples/peaches"). Just depends on my mood.

I would only do peach cobbler with homegrown peaches, though...grocery store peaches are so hit-and-miss. Good baking apples are a lot easier to come by than the perfect peach. My mom always makes peach cobbler with peaches picked from her trees. I have the recipe, but not always access to the perfect peaches, unless I get lucky at a farmer's market in-season.
