Pineapple's good on a burger for the same reason it's good on a pizza: the sweet/savory combo. I've had a burger with pineapple, barbecue sauce, and caramelized onions, and it was fantastic.

Take out the vegetables (except the onions) and it sounds really good.

That looks like the kitchen sink!

I had three teen boys, their favorite past time was to barbecue burgers, and make these monolithic, epic burgers...like a 4x4 burger, 4 patties, 4 pieces of cheese, loaded on a bun. And of course, their friends were always hanging out...I think my grocery bill was around $800 a month back then! (Ten years ago!)...I used to buy bags of patties and buns at Costco every week.

You're welcome. Buns here are generally provided by local bakeries and may differ considerably.

I can remember some-30 years ago or so, having burgers in England. The buns were so far from being an American hamburger bun, it ruined the whole thing. There's a bread to filling ratio that makes a huge impact on how good any sandwich is. Of course, I've run into them in the US where the bun is atrocious, too.

Works pretty well on top of pancakes, but never a burger.

Some south of the border put actual ham slices on the burger...yuck. Usually it that "luncheon meat" type...extra yuck.

toasted bun, ground beef, mustard, pickle, onion, tomato, lettuce, a shot of ketchup.

Asian countries like to egg a burger. I got no problem with it. Sounds good to me.

Now that I would never do! But a burger yes. Savory with savory. Sweet can stay with sweet. (such as pancakes)

OP, I got all the stuff to make these burgers today.
