Your typical ice cream in Japan is rather vanilla. Things usually don't get much crazier than green tea. But in some places, the ice cream gets downright strange. Viper ice cream, anyone?P
The above containers read "mamushi" (まむし) in Japanese, and on the label, right next to "almond," that is exactly what's listed as an ingredient.P

OMG! Raw Horse Meat?!?!
I can't fathom the idea of cooked horse meat, much less that of raw meat in my icecream

Holy cow! All of it is nauseating. If by chance I ever make it to Japan, ice cream will not be on my radar.
