There's a Mexican food chain called El Torrito. I think they are really pretty good for being a large chain. They are always consistent, been to a few different ones and the food is good, the service has never been bad and they always seem clean and well taken care of.

I actually hate to admit it, because I'm the first to shytcan the large chains and try and find smaller family owned joints, but if they are banging on all cylinders you gotta give props where props are due.

Macaroni Grill. The non-pasta dishes are actually prepared in an open air kitchen.(At least the one I frequent does) Pasta is already nearly cooked and they heat or reheat to appropriate texture. No visible microwaving as in Olive Garden. I have watched my meals being cooked which is nice.

I totally agree. That salad is absolutely disgusting! But Chick Fil A has a bunch of other yummy stuff on their menu.

If I had to go to a chain, then I'd pick the following:

Popeye's
Chick-Fil-A
Dickey's BBQ
Saltgrass
Abuelo's
Olive Garden
Pappadeaux

Original Pancake House (breakfast)
