Our family of five eat at IKEA's restaurant regularly once a week. Instead of eating at Olive Garden's or any other franchise eateries I find IKEA food to be affordable and quite nutritious.
There's no place out there a family of 5 can enjoy good portions of wholesome fish, poultry, and healthy veggies for about $30 or less.
Sometimes my two sons split a 20 piece Swedish Meatball meal for about $7 and comes with soup/salad and a drink.
Breakfast is also very affordable we spend about $10 and eat good portions of scramble eggs, bacon, and pancakes.

I like Ikea meatballs with the lingon sauce. I can see why it is cheaper for you to eat there, especially since you don't need to pay tip there.
But there are only so much you can eat there; I mean isn't it getting boring after a while?
Here's a good picture of what they serve and I typically ate.
The Baked salmon filet is quite nice and the smoked salmon too is very good and light. Of course the most common is the swedish meatballs.
Sometimes they have BBQ ribs which can be a hit or miss depending on how long it's been sitting there. I had their BBQ pulled pork one time and it wasn't bad but just wasn't big enough portion.
I've never even seen an IKEA...much less eaten (or shopped for a sofa) at one.
