I normally dislike Velveeta cheese but add some green chile to it and it makes great chile con queso.

I got very sick from maple-flavored candy as well as Necco Wafers when I was a kid.

I have not touched either ever since. The mere thought of a Necco Wafer in my mouth makes me :::shudder:::

I read labels more than identify with brands for most things and generally don't buy a lot of canned goods or frozen veggies anyway.
I avoid chips made with canola oil for this reason.

Funny, but Bay's are my favorite.

Mrsrainroosty likes them, too. I may like them more if I burn them good in my antique toaster.

If it was lukewarm, then you didn't boil it forever. If something is in boiling water long enough, it gets hot. Even if it weren't al dente, it would at least be hot.

Anything Wal Mart Great Value food wise hate the fact they only put "distributed by' instead of country of origin. Plus cookies, crackers, pasta etc just seems to have off flavorings to them.

Smithfield and all of it's brands under the Smithfield umbrella since they sold out to China. Which I've read conflicting articles that say they export USA pigs to process in China then import products back to USA. Why???? Raised on the Eckrich brand but no more in my house, Armour & Farmland are the only other 2 brands in my area from Smithfield no to them as well.

Papa John's pizza. I am a pizza lover, but I'd sooner eat catsup on a saltine.

Another frozen chicken wing product I'll never buy was a brand called big Daddy's. Feathers on them and the bones broke in little pieces when hubby ate them. I'll stick to the fresh Perdue wingettes.
