I don't eat clams, but clam shucking sure is fun.

Either/or, but I prefer the New England, with oyster crackers.

I just read a Wikipedia article that mentions versions such as Rhode Island, Delaware, New Jersey, and Minorcan Clam chowders. Anyone ever have any of these? Honestly, the only versions I've ever heard of were New England and Manhattan.

Spent some time last spring on Okracoke island and went to a restaurant and ordered something called Okracoke clam chowder, Seemed to be a New England style Chowder with broth instead of the cream, excellent product and its how i now make my home made chowder.
As for regular chowders i've had both and either one can be good or bad..
