First of all a frozen pizza does not cost $10. More like $5 if it's on sale or you have a coupon. I eat frozen pizzas because they are honestly not much worse than the local chains in my area. Seriously, both the Pizza hut and Dominos near my house are terrible. There is an independent place that's decent but it's further away and costs $20 for a large which is more than I can afford on a regular basis.
the medium pizzas cost $5 but the large ones cost $10 so they are not cheap (for a large one) and Pizza hut and Dominos taste way better then any frozen pizza
We will buy ready made at Sam's Aldi's or Papa Murphys once in awhile and keep in the freezer for a quick meal when we have been out all of or are just plain tired, but not too often. I will add a few more veggies, sausage, whatever. I don't consider it expensive at all. Of course I am not talking Pizza Hut. I think they have gone down hill in quality and uphill in price over the past 5 years or so. Now if the OP is talking frozen pizza from the grocery store, no we don't buy them. I would like to know where you pay $10 for one. We don't pay that much for the places I just mentioned.
Because sometimes you're craving pizza at 2am, and have to get one at the grocery/convenience store (or your freezer)? Yes, I do smoke pot.
Of course the fresh & hot pizzas from a restaurant (I use that term loosely) are better, but they are also more expensive and limited to certain hours. I work pretty late, too, so the pizza joints are often closed by the time I'm home and ready for dinner. Then you have the convenience factor mentioned above, as you can store multiple pies in the freezer for quick & easy meals.
P.S. I worked for Domino's, Little Caesar's, and Pizza Hut while in college, and would urge you to stick with the latter two... you really don't want to know what I witnessed at Domino's, LOL. In my opinion, their pizzas also happen to taste like cardboard.
I buy the really cheap frozen personal pizzas for my teens. I can usually get them for .88 each.
I do buy the good quality frozen pizzas when they are on sale or with a good coupon. I can get two large DiGiornio's, with tons of toppings, and pay a total of $7.00. Well worth it once in a while.
I usually buy frozen pizza when it is on sale at a good price and use them as a motivator for my son who would do just about anything for any kind of pizza. I usually buy Red Baron because long, long ago when I desperately needed a job they hired me.
To me, pizza is pizza! I'm a pizza freak, so I could care less if the pizza I'm buying is frozen or fresh from the restaurant. As long as it's not old and neither its dough or toppings are growing hair, I don't care how it comes. My favorite national brands are Tony's, Red Baron, and Tombstone!
And to the OP, I'm not sure how you could manage to buy a Digornio for $10. That's highway robbery! They cheated you! There are many private label store brand frozen pizzas that cost much less and taste just as great and even better.

A large digornio pizza costs $10.00 for that amount I could buy a fresh hot pizza that tastes a lot better and put the leftovers in the fridge or freezer. I am curious who buys frozen pizza and why?
I keep one around for cravings:>) Cheap, frozen, add veggies, add cheese. To me it seems like the fast food ones have too much salt.
