I stopped drinking coffee around December because of bad taste. I grind my own beans and only drink Colombian, have tried different brands, DD and others, all taste bad. I thought it was me. I also cleaned the machine very well, as I do on a regular basis.
Just this weekend I bought Gavalia coffee, Colombia, and it was surprisingly really good. I didn't have high hopes because its cheaper but I had a coupon so I gave it a shot. I say it is worth a try, I will buy it again. Didn't seem "burnt" at all, really tasty. Gevalia In Store | Buy Gourmet Coffee

Talking about getting just a cup of burnt tasting coffee - I got a cuppa at Hardee's and it tasted so burnt, I gagged. Nasty stuff.
