Cream of mushroom has forever been my comfort food when I had a little cold or something. I used to work with a man who ate it cold right out of the can for lunch. Can't say I'd eat a whole can that way, but I always have to have a little taste when I'm opening a can.

I like cream of mushroom soup with extra mushrooms too (like UB50).. I sometimes drain and add a can of niblets corn to make a sort of corn/mushroom chowder. It's good and filling and best of all..fast.

I like it..mixed with water...comfort food! It's salty already, so try not to add extra!

Yes, do it all the time. However, I like other brands besides "cambells" better, cause they are more "mushroomy", i.e. larger pieces.
In fact, I think I am the only freak on earth that hates the traditional green bean/mushroom soup casserole.

You're not alone. My husband made me promise I would never make that for him! He's in luck though, I don't cook anything with "cream of" soup in it.
I'd rather add my own seasoning.

Progresso makes this great, creamy Mushroom Soup with Portobello mushrooms. Delicious and one of my all time favorites.
