Breads and Pastas. I barely eat that anymore as it is. I love potatoes and rice (eat sparingly but I'll never give either up completely) and love corn.

Grits are made out of corn, too. I may have to rethink this ...

Funny thing is, I rarely eat grains anyway, except for oats. But when I want them, I want them!

But really, they just taste better than white potatoes.

That's called an opinion. Really, some of us just don't like sweet potatoes.

I suppose I'd toss sweet potatoes.

I'm not supposed to eat corn any longer so take it with my blessings. It always gave me not so nice bowel problems anyway.

But, you cannot take my potatoes! I will fight you to the end!

I wouldn't care if I never ate rice again. To me, it is totally tasteless anyway.

Corn, most likely, even though I love this particular side dish so much, especially with a nice sprinkle of Cholula on top:
Mexican Corn on the Cob (Elote) Recipe - Allrecipes.com

I don't eat it often, though, and I don't have much use for corn otherwise -- well, tortilla chips, but I can figure something else out there.

I think I could also give up wheat -- I don't eat a ton of bread or pasta anymore, and I actually like a lot of the gluten-free pastas.

Rice and white potatoes will have to be pried out of my cold and dead hands. I don't eat them all the time, but I love both quite a bit.

two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. That's what you get with nearly everything in Hawaii. White rice is only good for one thing...rice pudding.

Taro root. I haven't had that for over 30 years anyhow. I never did acquire a taste for Poi.
