Same here, we were just across the state from you. Hamburgers .25. We still have the McD's here in town that sold them. They have been through 4 renovations but never got rid of their golden arches. The original, you walked up to an outside window and ordered your food.

I like to get a Big Mac + Apple Pie.

1972 - Big Mac + Apple Pie = 91 cents. Adjusted for inflation that is 5.16 today.
2014 - Big Mac + Apple Pie = 5.34.

For those two items, they have kept the prices about the same, adjusted for inflation.

Their quality has improved lately. At least the Big Macs are not smooshed anymore with limp lettuce and too much sauce.
Didn't the apple pies used to have cinnamon sugar on them?

1972 was sure a good year. Just a kid, but I remember how going there was a big treat. They didn't have them all around that year, so it was about a five mile trip. Notice how limited the menu was, but that was enough at the time.
