in a business class in college , we had to come up with a restaurant concept that was different
and give an oral presentation to the class..
we had a group of 3 guys and a lesbian.... our idea was a muffin shop,,,nothing but muffins and the name was
The Muff Dive
and the lesbian was giving the presentation to the class, so she gets in front of the class, introduced herself and welcomed everyone to the muff-dive- we had ver creative name for the muffins-
the professor wasn't impressed, but we won the popular vote from the class
I think most of these are intentionally funny (or intentionally punny), and in the case of a couple of the photos above, photoshopped.
When I think of unintentionally funny, I think of the Chinese restaurant that opened in small town I used to live in. The owner named the restaurant after himself ... "Chien's Chinese Restaurant"
It was brought to his attention *after* he put up the big sign that "chien" means "dog" in French. I'm pretty sure he changed the name rather quickly.

I would think that funny only if we lived in France. Otherwise, who gives a *****?
