I can take something like Coco Lopez in a cocktail or in a Thai curry. But I cannot abide coconut flakes. It's one of very few things I didn't like as a kid and still don't.

I like coconut water, and enjoy drinking coconut juice straight out of the coconut like they do in some countries.

But coconut meat itself, I do not like at all.

I hate coconut desserts, stuff with coconut sprinkled on top, candy like almond joy, coconut shrimp, things like that. I don't really like coconut sauces and flavors either.

I love coconut.. I live on an island so how can i hate it. its in everything we eat here. the coconut tree is our tree of life.
