Thought of something else - Garden Burgers (I only like the original Garden Burger brand - 4 to a box) I made two the other night with provolone cheese and put over soften spinach - it's a quick easy dinner and healthy.
I order carry out. I I have to assemble it myself no matter how simple. It is still cooking. If I am going to go to the trouble I just make something I like. Usually a simple pasta and chicken dish or some roasted chicken and veggies. They don't take much effort and taste good enough to be worth the work.
From reading some of the responses some of you do as much work when "you don't feel like cooking" as you do when you do feel like it.
yes- I was thinking the same thing. For one person just about anything can be fixed quickly but I was wondering about fixing a quick no brainer meal for a family with kids.
Pizza. We've tried to doctor up frozen pizza, but we have yet to find one good enough to stand in for dinner. Take-out these days, in fact, probably tonight!
A big bowl of cereal
Frozen dumplings reheated and doused in sauce with minute rice
