This may be a weird thing to bring up, but recently my wife bought a bottle of Melinda's Habenero Ketchup. I'm a huge fan of Melinda's hot sauce which is a carrot based sauce. It's flavorful, not lip burning or butt singeing and a great compliment to chili or veggies. Absolutely great flavor..

So this ketchup-WOW! It is really, really good! The ingredients are:

Water
Tomato paste
Pure cane sugar
Glucose
Habanero peppers
salt
Starch
Acetic acid
Garlic
Citric Acid
Onion and;
Ascorbic acid

While not considered organic, it has no GMO or HFCS. It's a really great ketchup! I used some to make sloppy joe and it turned out phenomenal! Not too hot but just enough zest to know 'something is a little different here'. It's really thick and really, really flavorful. I've had it on my burgers, breakfast sandwiches and even on the side with some steak.

I'm not some huge ketchup fan, but man this would be awesome on big, thick cut fries. If you're like me and like things on the spicy and flavorful side (and not burning arse hot)- this is something you should try!

My beef with ketchup is that it's too sweet and too bland. This sounds pretty good.

My husband loves that stuff! We get it for cheap money in the back of TJ Maxx and Marshall. Funny coincidence is we use it in our homemade sloppy joes too!
