Right now I'd say Dunkin Donuts is my new favorite, McDonalds is good too. Most other places I go are average.

What's your favorite Cup of Joe?

I assume you're talking just fast food and or doughnut/bagel/breakfast shops?

My vote for coffee if I'm not going to make it myself and want to pick it up on my drive is Einstein Bros. Bagel's autumn blend, which has hints of chestnut. I don't go in for flavored coffee, typically, but that particular blend is more of a toasty quality than an actual obvious flavor.

Mostly, though, I prefer the coffee I brew at home from whole bean to what I can pick up on the road. I just make an exception for that Einstein's seasonal blend. They're also probably the best bagels available to me in this particular geographic region, which is fairly devoid of real-deal bagels.

McDonald's $0.54 senior small. DD is good too. Some of the best have been at steak houses. Ruth's Chris, on the several occasions, was outstanding.

I like Panera. There coffee is generally very fresh AND you can get a bagel at a fraction of what Starbucks charges.

I drink coffee black, so if a cup sucks, there's no hiding it. I'll say that pretty much every national chain has stepped up their coffee program over the past five years. Hard to find an undrinkable cup most places, although BK is probably the worst right now (not sure if they're still using Seattle's Best). Even Denny's brews a decent cup these days. Not great... but decent and a hella lot better than it used to be.

Assuming you are referring to fast-food-style restaurants, then it would be 7-11.

They have an excellent variety coffees to choose from.

Oh, well, if we're going to convenience store options, QuikTrip is insanely good, on most fronts...including coffee.

My favorite coffee comes from a French restaurant here in Denver. Coffee is a no-no for me, so it's a very special and occasional treat. From a chain restaurant, I'd probably choose Einstein's Bagels. Starbucks is completely undrinkable. For the life of me, I cannot understand why it's so popular.
