Do you have a favorite cup/mug for your hot beverages? Why is it your favorite?
I like clear glass mugs with a pedestal for my black tea but coffee always needs to be in a ceramic mug which has memories or else a lovely china cup.

I have a giant ceramic mug that I've used for hot beverages for about 7 years. It holds about 2 cups worth. I have a tall clear glass with a handle for not hot drinks. I actually don't drink cold drinks. I prefer cool to room temperature. Especially if I'm thirsty.

I broke it last year...and Seattle Best (coffee co.) doesn't make them anymore!
Nothing compares.
I'm waiting for one to turn up at a Thrift Store...I look every time!
It's coming....it's on it's way to me!

I'm using 3 Starbucks cups...red, matte brown and blue all the same style...
not as good.

I buy all the oversized mugs from Starbucks too, love em, because who wants to get up/down every 5 minutes at the crack of dawn each day.....the Starbucks mugs hold the equivalent of about 3 regular cups of coffee.

When I met my now wife she took me back to Ireland to meet her family and we bought cool sheep mugs. Ceramic, thin lip, just the right size with cartoon white sheep all over it and one black one and a shamrock inside. The perfect mug.
