I had a cheese pizza, so I threw some pineapple and bacon on it with a sprinkle of Tabasco. It was delicious.

Tried something new today ... pork tenderloin in the crock pot. I made the marinade for it last night, then just poured it over the pork, put the cover on the crock pot, and turned it on. The marinade had stuff I would not ordinarily have thought would go together, but they did -- things like maple syrup with yellow mustard . The broth was thin (by design I think) but quite good. (And my house smelled GREAT!)

I made my (new)-usual big bunch of veggies to go with it ... this time I added green pepper and snap peas to the green beans, mushrooms, sweet onions, and carrots that I usually use. YUM!!

I think I invented something new tonight?

I cooked three italian sausages, then removed them from the pan. Shook in some Wondra flour, stirred, then deglazed the pan with some water. Stirred it until it was right, then added a truck load of fresh black pepper and about half a cup of milk. Added the (now sliced) sausage back to the gravy and served the mess over some really fresh bakery buns.
