Having chili tonight that my dear mom made today. Have tomorrow off and very grateful as I'm worn down from the snow and crazy/long hours. Woke up too 3 inches of snow this morning that had to plow. Thank the heavens my weekend starts tonight and have a day or 2 off from work as another system moving into my area saturday night. happy eats all!

Dal makhni, hot phulkas, and 1 shot of vodka to deal with the chill.

Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots and green beans. With some cranberries and pie, it could have been Thanksgiving dinner.

We are having son in law over tonight: daughter and some of the other females are heading for a girls only week. They will be cruising, darn them. I am serving meat loaf (one of his favorites) rice (yes, out of a box) fresh asparagus and a green salad, with blue cheese.

That sounds really good I couldn't rep you again so soon.

I have my short ribs in the crock pot already. With them I am making the barley and zucchini salad I was supposed to make earlier in the week. I got lazy on that day and just made plain couscous.
Happy Friday everyone!
