I'm making stew from leftover pot roast with the juice it was cooked in, pan roasted carrots and green beans, and kale. I had no idea it took so long to cook kale! My first time using it.
Late last night I decided I wanted chili for dinner tonight but now that I like to make mine using a braised chuck roast shredded instead of hamburger, I knew it wouldn't' work in the crockpot all day, so I got it started and put it in a low oven overnight.
I woke up this morning with a damp spot on my pillow from drooling at the aroma of it and I had been dreaming about being a big yellow dog waiting for snacks at a big farmhouse table ;-D
having it with corn chips, sour cream, and a sprinkling of chopped green onions and cilantro

Starting to clean out the fridge for vacation next week. Hubby had a burger and fries, and mommy had a hotdog and potato salad. Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for dessert. Lunch tomorrow will be exactly the same thing.
