Sunday: We are expecting freezing rain today on top of the snow we have. By next weekend they expect high 60's. Crazy weather! Tonight I'll make chicken Marsala with roasted green beans in vinegrette topped with parmesean. Tossed salad, and warm bread. It's my DD's 28th, and this is her favorite!
perfect summer meal, only it is winter and still cold as you know what outside, so I guess it will find a cooking home using the griddler. We are having steak, grilled veggies, probably cous cous instead of potatoes and I will do, my usual; green salad.
Making hubby 2 Gorton's crispy fish fillet's with American cheese on top and tartar sauce. With that we will both have French fries. Not sure what else I am having because I don't like what he's having.
The scallops where good and have a few leftover for today's dinner. I managed to clear 4 feet of snow off my deck and get my grill right outside the sliding doors, so i can use the grill and stay inside at the same time.
Been marinating steak tips for a few days now and will be grilling them in a few hours. Also having the leftover scallops for a surf and turf feel. Side of baked potato's.
And yes I'm most welcoming MBM, it's ingrained in my DNA as cooking good food has and will always be something i enjoy doing, the only thing that tops it all off is sharing it with friends and family. And especially the posters here on this thread.
I am going to salt and pepper a London broil and grill it up. Then I slice it thin and put on top a gianormous salad. I bought some lovely blue cheese yesterday. I am going to crumble it over the whole thing and serve with a white balsamic vinaigrette.
Fried chicken, mashed potatoes with skin on, mac and cheese, and stove top.
