Hopefully this is not TMI, but I was rather ticked off last night when I saw the shrimp I planned to use for dinner was gone along with the corn I planned to have. Hubby came into the kitchen while I was making crab cakes instead, wearing nothing but an apron and sandals and carrying a grocery bag (I'm assuming he didn't go to the store dressed that way!)..
.. So, tonight we'll have grilled rib eye steaks with a red wine-mushroom sauce, grilled bacon-wrapped asparagus, grilled corn with cilantro-lime butter and warm caramel apple cake for dessert.
Buffet night. I'm having leftover pork loin roast, my wife and daughter are having goose pastrami rueben sandwiches, my son is having leftover BBQ ribs. Have some baked beans and corn leftover as well.
Grilled chicken breast that I marinated in honey balsamic dressing, Hubby is having grilled chicken thighs. I am making steamed fresh green beans and sweet potato.
A whole wheat pita bread filled with low fat cottage cheese, a low fat blueberry probiotic yogurt and a mug of English breakfast tea with a teaspoon of sugar.
