It's already very humid out and then temperature is supposed be in the high 80s today. So I decided to have a 70s (when I was my kid's ages) throwback summer meal. We had this a lot growing up, steamed hot dogs and buns with chips and watermelon. I even made sure to pick up Wachusett brand chips like my Ma bought. I had to draw the line at making a batch of Kool Aid. I shudder just thinking about drinking a glass of it.
Happy Tuesday!

I am going to make spaghetti bolognese later tonight, but thinking of adding something else to give it a twist. Lots of garlic is a must for me

Simple supper - Avocado, egg, asparagus and baby red potato salad served over iceberg lettuce with a choice of lemon vinaigrette, blue cheese and Green Goddess dressing.

A good dark pumpernickel bread with whipped butter.

Grilled corn and watermelon.

Grilled chicken thighs for hubby and grilled chicken breast for me that I marinated in honey balsamic dressing. Corn on the cob grilled, hash brown patties.
